1
Obtain Your Referral

Book a consultation with our Fertility GP or get a referral by having your GP complete the ovulation tracking referral form. The completed form can be sent to FertilitySA via email or by faxing (02) 9094 2211. During your initial assessment, your specialist will walk you through everything clearly, ensuring there are no surprises.

2
Contact Your Nurse

Between days 1-3 of your menstrual cycle, contact your Fertility SA Nurse via phone or email to schedule your initial tests, which may include blood tests and ultrasounds. After the initial test, we’ll call you with the results and guide you—either with more pathology tests or moving towards conception.

3
Blood Test

Seven days after ovulation, your final ovulation tracking blood test will need to be taken to measure progesterone levels, which signal the release of an egg. Use your ovulation test tracking sheet to review the timeline and stay prepared for the next steps.

4
Pregnancy Test

If you’ve reached 16 days after ovulation without a period, we’ll arrange for a pregnancy test. Whatever the result, our team will be here to provide the support and information you need as you continue your journey.
