FertilitySA powered by Genea is proud to join Port Adelaide Football Club as a key partner across both its AFL and AFLW programs.

We have helped bring thousands of little South Australians into the world. Behind every one of those babies is a deeply personal story, often filled with hope, courage and resilience.

We also know that the path to parenthood isn’t always straightforward. For the one in six Australians who experience difficulty conceiving, it can involve uncertainty, disappointment and grief that friends and family may not always see or understand.

Through our partnership with Port Adelaide, we hope to make those experiences feel less isolating. By bringing fertility conversations into a familiar community setting, we can help more people understand their fertility, feel comfortable asking questions and know that support is available when they need it.

FertilitySA Clinic Manager Branka Baker said the partnership reflected the clinic’s close connection to South Australian families.

“At FertilitySA, we have helped bring thousands of little South Australians into the world, so we feel a deep connection to the families and communities that make this state so special,” Branka said.

“Becoming a key partner of Port Adelaide is a wonderful opportunity to stand alongside a club that shares our strong South Australian roots and commitment to supporting people through some of life’s biggest moments.”

Port Adelaide General Manager of Commercial and Partnerships Adam Thomson said the partnership would help create meaningful conversations beyond football.

“We’re proud to welcome FertilitySA to the Port Adelaide family and to partner with an organisation committed to improving education and awareness around an issue that affects so many Australians,” Mr Thomson said.

“This partnership is about starting important conversations, improving fertility knowledge and supporting individuals and families throughout their fertility journey.

“The opportunity to help grow the next generation of Port Adelaide supporters is a powerful one, and we’re excited to work alongside FertilitySA across both our AFL and AFLW programs.”

As one of the first clubs to establish a dedicated fertility partnership across both its men’s and women’s programs, Port Adelaide is helping bring an often private experience into a more open and supportive conversation.

FertilitySA will feature across the club’s digital platforms and through match-day activations, including a dedicated quarter-time segment at upcoming AFLW home games.

Together, we want anyone facing fertility challenges to know that they are not alone, and that compassionate, expert support is here when they are ready.
